GTF, one of the six largest chicken producers in Brazil and one of the ten largest exporters of this protein in the country, announces the completion of its second issuance of Agribusiness Receivables Certificates (CRA), valued at R$ 375 million.
The second issuance aims to strengthen the company's capital structure, extend its liabilities, and improve its product mix. This new fundraising will allow GTF to invest in the development of new products, including IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) products, aimed at both the export and domestic consumer markets. The objective is to expand the company's market share abroad and deliver more value to consumers.
With a revenue target of R$ 5 billion by 2026, GTF projects continuous and sustainable growth in the coming years. In 2024, the company reached R$ 4 billion in revenue, which prompted the launch of a new strategic plan.
GTF owns the Canção brand, which produces frozen chicken and fish proteins and accounts for 90% of the company's revenue, and Lorenz, the largest cassava processing company in Brazil, responsible for the remaining 10%. The company plans to expand its production capacity through the expansion of its plants and projects reaching a slaughter capacity of over 800,000 birds per day in the next five years. This growth is part of a broader strategy aimed at strengthening GTF's presence in the capital markets and consolidating its leadership in the food sector. "We project continuous and sustainable growth in the coming years. In 2024, we reached the milestone of R$ 4 billion in revenue, which boosted the launch of a new strategic plan. This second issuance marks another important step in this expansion process. We are strengthening the company with investments in new plants, automation, innovation, packaging, and sustainability, with the goal of continuing to grow solidly," said Vinícius Gonçalves, vice-president of GTF.
